Join Our Programs
Programs such as EMT, Advanced-EMT and Paramedic provide students with the necessary curriculum to become state licensed in prehospital emergency medicine. These programs build upon each other. At Faithful Guardian Training Center, we offer a variety of class formats to accommodate the schedules of working adults.
EMT/AEMT Combination Course
Our Program combines the EMT and AEMT into a complete course of study. The 7 to 11-month program covers anatomy and physiology, initial patient survey and triage, airway management, oxygen therapy, and treatment of bleeding, shock, cardiac arrest, fractures, spinal injuries and other medical emergencies. Additional areas of study include automated external defibrillation, multi-lumen airways, IV access and general pharmacology.
This course is designed for anyone interested in working in public safety, including fire, police and ambulance operations. Students who successfully complete these programs are eligible to take the National Registry Examination necessary for state licensure. EMT-AEMT
Paramedic Course
The Paramedic Course is designed for any licensed or certified EMT or Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) interested in becoming a Paramedic. Students who successfully complete one of these programs are eligible to take the National Registry examination process required for state licensure.
The 15-month Paramedic course teaches anatomy and physiology, patient assessment, advanced airway management, oxygen therapy, intravenous therapy, cardiology, and pharmacology and reinforces basic EMT skills. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS), Geriatric Education for Emergency Medical Services (GEMS) courses are included in the tuition fee. Faithful Guardian Training Center Aviation Division is now enrolling students into our FAA approved 141/61 Flight Training course.
All classes are taught by experienced industry professionals. Classroom instruction and flight will be held at our main Campus in West Georgia, while flight instructions are held at West Georgia Regional Airport (KCTJ) and/or Fulton County Airport (KFTY). All instructors are Certified Flight Instructors recognized by the FAA, and they possess years of commercial airline and instruction experience. Specialty Courses
Courses are designed to build upon initial education programs and as enrichment. Course length varies with most courses averaging around 16 hours for completion. Certificate courses are recognized by the American Heart Association, National Association of EMTs or other professional organizations. Course fees vary.
